Safety

It is the responsibility of the owner to ensure that users are aware of the following warnings and precautions:

  • Consult a physician before using ZeroWheel if you are pregnant, have a pre-existing health condition, or have any concerns about your fitness level.
  • Keep young children and pets away from ZeroWheel at all times. Persons exceeding 300 lbs. (136 kg) in weight should not use ZeroWheel.
  • Make sure you have a clear area away from furniture, children, and animals before using ZeroWheel.
  • Keep hands, loose clothing, shoelaces, loose hair and accessories clear from moving parts. Do not insert objects into openings on ZeroWheel.

Setup

Please follow the steps below to quickly setup your ZeroWheel. Please check for the following contents inside your packaging: a ZeroWheel device, a USB-C charging cord, and an outlet charging brick.

  1. Plug in ZeroWheel immediately. New devices will not power up for the first time unless they are charged. It is recommended that you recharge ZeroWheel if the battery level is below 25%.
  2. Unplug and power up ZeroWheel. Ensure your device is unplugged from the charger and press the power button to turn on ZeroWheel.
  3. Power down ZeroWheel. Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn off ZeroWheel.

On startup and shutdown, the ZeroWheel ring lights will first animate and then display your device's battery level.

  • Between 0–10%, ZeroWheel illuminates red. Charge your device as soon as possible
  • Between 10–25%, ZeroWheel illuminates yellow. Charge your device before your next exercise
  • Between 25–100%, ZeroWheel illuminates green. Charge your device when next convenient
  • If ZeroWheel ever flashes red lights instead of powering up, please charge your device immediately.

Usage

The selection dial is the primary way to interact with your physical ZeroWheel device. Rotating the dial clockwise and counterclockwise

When the selector dial is rotated counterclockwise, ZeroWheel enters Springback. In this assistance mode, your device braces you as you roll outwards and gives you a momentum boost as you roll back.

When the selector dial is rotated clockwise, ZeroWheel enters Quicksand. In this resistance mode, your device dynamically fights against the speed of your motion. The faster you roll, the harder it is to move ZeroWheel.

Please follow the usage instructions below for a safe and effective ZeroWheel exercise experience:

  • Grip the handles using an overhand grip with your palms resting on the ZeroWheel logo imprint. Wrap your fingers around the front edge of the handle and your thumb around the back edge of the handle.
  • Keep your wrists straight and locked during exercise to reduce unnecessary strain.
  • If you feel unstable and would like to stop in the middle of a floor-based exercise, drop your elbows to the floor and let go of ZeroWheel. The device will not roll away from you. For wall-based exercises, step forwards and remove ZeroWheel from the wall.
  • Never disengage your core during both floor- and wall-based exercises. An engaged core prevents injuries and directs tension to the appropriate muscle groups
  • For wall-based exercises, lean against the wall throughout the entire movement. Maintaining friction on the wall ensures you receive the proper amount of force from ZeroWheel.

Care

Please follow the care instructions below for optimal ZeroWheel performance and longevity:

  • Use ZeroWheel on smooth surfaces. To minimize wear and damage on the tread, please use the device on smooth or soft surfaces, such as flat exterior walls. Do not use ZeroWheel on rough surfaces, such as brick walls.
  • Don't use ZeroWheel on delicate surfaces. Avoid using ZeroWheel on easy-wearing surfaces, such as painted interior walls. Dust collected on the tread may transfer over to these surfaces. We recommend using ZeroWheel Mat ↗, a high friction and protective exercise mat, for these surfaces.
  • Avoid using ZeroWheel in dirty settings where dust and other particles can easily make their way into the device.
  • Clean ZeroWheel after use. When finished with a ZeroWheel workout, remove any sweat from the device with a disinfecting wipe and microfiber cloth.
  • Avoid letting ZeroWheel slip against the rolling surface during exercise to reduce any wear on the wheel tread.
  • Do not store ZeroWheel outdoors, near water, or at high humidity levels. Instead store ZeroWheel indoors in a dry and safe location.
